Hey Kristin,
So my son’s says “I always watch that (the olympics)”- I guess you could say I am somewhat of an Olympics junkie. Wish I could be there with you. We’ll he can wait to watch cartoons which are always on. I’ve stayed up late watching everything- loved snowboard cross and men’s downhill-they are truely flying on the edge of a cliff- not easy to stay on! Courage to all who even attempt it. My only wish is that the US media would cover more athletes from other countries-they all have facinating back stories. I for one, route for athletes from Holland, my home country and Canada (because I lived there when I was young)and the US and my mom called wondered if I was able to see Sven win in speed skating and I said I only saw the winning moment but not the whole back story which is sweet. So keep us posted as to what is happening with ALL the athletes if you get a chance. Good to hear you got a moment to play on the BIG mountain. We miss you but are taking good care of patients til you return.
